Recently, He Yansheng, Executive Director of Jiantao Group, revealed that in addition to the 800000 tons of acetic acid project that has officially started construction, the 200000 tons of acetic acid to acrylic acid project is undergoing preliminary procedures. The 219000 tons of phenol project, 135000 tons of acetone project, and 180000 tons of bisphenol A project have been registered at the provincial level, and the 400000 tons of vinyl acetate project and 300000 tons of EVA project are also in preparation.

Jiantao Group is currently constructing phenol ketone and bisphenol A projects:

1、240000 tons/year bisphenol A project with a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan;

The 240000 ton/year bisphenol A project is a newly started project in 2023, with a total investment of 1.35 billion yuan. The 240000 ton/year bisphenol A project of Huizhou Zhongxin Industry has a construction area of approximately 24000 square meters and covers an area of approximately 77000 square meters. A new set of 240000 t/a bisphenol A plant and supporting auxiliary facilities will be built, as well as central control room, substation, circulating water, dosing room, air compression station, complex building, desalted water station, foam station, sewage treatment, comprehensive warehouse, laboratory building, BPA warehouse and other ancillary buildings. Currently, it is under comprehensive construction.

2、450000 tons/year phenol acetone project with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan;

Build a 280000 ton/year phenol plant and a 170000 ton/year acetone plant. The main buildings and structures include intermediate tank farm, acetone tank farm, loading and unloading station, (steam) temperature and pressure reducing station, control room, substation, liquid incinerator, circulating water station, air compressed nitrogen refrigeration station, spare parts warehouse, hazardous waste warehouse, etc. At present, the 450000 ton/year phenol acetone project (installation) of Huizhou Zhongxin Chemical Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the completion acceptance and handover of the device.

In addition, the executive director of the group stated that they will strengthen investment in chemical industry this year, such as photovoltaic films used in solar power generation, as well as wing blade materials for cables and wind power equipment, which have become a demand highlight for departmental products such as phenol acetone and bisphenol A.
